Privacy policy

Effective date: 8 September 2026. SEENMETRIC ("we", "us"), a trading name of MMVP PTY LTD (ABN 29 629 141 055), operates seenmetric.com.au and provides technical SEO and AI-visibility audits to businesses. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you request a Foundation Audit, purchase an audit, or contact us, we collect your name, email address and the website domain you ask us to audit. If you purchase a paid audit, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

How we use it

We use your email to deliver your audit report, respond to enquiries, and, where you have submitted a Foundation Audit or purchase, to send reasonably related follow-up emails about our paid services, consistent with the inferred-consent provisions of the Spam Act 2003. Every marketing email includes accurate sender identification and a working unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by visiting the unsubscribe page.

Business contact details we collect ourselves

We also collect business contact details from public sources, such as a business's own website and its public Google listing, so that we can send a small number of introductory emails with a Foundation Audit of that website attached. If you received one of those, that is where your address came from: nothing was bought and nothing came from a list. Reply and ask us to stop, and the address is added to a permanent do-not-contact list and never used again.

How long we keep it

Reports are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically. If someone asks us not to contact them, their report is deleted straight away rather than at the end of that term. We keep the technical measurements behind a report, which describe a website rather than a person, so that a later check can be compared with an earlier one.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not require access to your website, hosting account or CMS to run an audit. Findings are based only on what is publicly visible.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, the pages you open and basic details about your device and browser. We use it to understand how the site is used, not to identify you, and we do not connect it to the email address or business details you give us. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy, which means some of it is handled outside Australia. Analytics does not run on report pages, so nothing you do inside a report we sent you is measured. You can block it with any tracker blocker or with Google's browser opt-out add-on.

Third-party services

We use Resend for email delivery, Stripe for payment processing and Google Analytics for website measurement. Each processes data under its own privacy policy as our service provider. Our site and database run on a single server in Sydney, and your data does not leave Australia except when it passes through those services.

Questions about this policy or a request to access or delete your data can be sent via the contact page.
